Difference between  MBps &Mbps | MBps vs Mbps

• Friends, when you activate different data plan during recharge of any telecom company, you will be told in your plan how much speed you will get in Mbps unit as per your plan. That is, you are told how much speed you get in Mbps- Mega BITS per second.
  
  
  
• Data is stored in the memory of a digital computer in the form of 0 and 1 digits. This binary digit is abbreviated as bits.
  
• But when you use your data, the speed in your web browser or mobile will be shown less. This is because the speed shown in the browser or mobile is shown in the MBps unit. Observe the internet speed in per second unit.

{Bit is a binary digit, which is 0 or 1. A set of 8 bits is called a byte}

•  Thus, the internet speed that you are told by the telecom company is called in the speed Mbps unit and the speed you observe in the mobile or browser is recorded in the speed MBps unit. Count.
• Simply put, companies report speed in small Mbps in the Mbps unit, while speed is shown in big B in your mobile. Let us take an example to better understand this.

Example::

Suppose the company promises to give you 16Mbps speed. And you see a speed of 2 MBps on your mobile. That is true. Because 16Mbps = 2MBps.

1 MBps = 8 Mbps or

1 Mbps = ⅛ MBps

That is, to convert the speed given in MBps unit to Mbps unit, multiply its number by 8 and to convert the speed given in Mbps unit to MBps unit, we divide it by 8.

• 1 bit = a singal digit, either 1 or 0
• 8 bits = 1 byte, combination of 1's and 0's
• 2¹⁰ Bytes = 1024 Bytes = 1KB (kilobyte)
  
• 2²⁰ Bytes = 1024 kilobytes = 1 MB (megabyte)
• 2³⁰ Bytes = 1024 Megabytes = 1 GB (gigabyte)
• 2⁴⁰ Bytes = 1024 Gigabytes = 1 TB (terabyte)
